It is important not to leave the RG1000 completely discharged (10% or lower charge level) for extended periods, as this could cause irreversible harm to the lithium battery in the RG1000.

The RG1000 is designed to prevent overcharging, however, it is best to unplug the charger once the charge level reaches 100% for more than 1 hour.

The LED display on the RG1000 shows the battery charge level. To ensure accuracy, each time you turn on the RG1000 and press the "CIRCLE" button, the display will calibrate by first showing 2 dashes followed shortly after by the percentage of battery life remaining.
